What does midwifery services include?
Global fee includes the following:
- 24/7 emergent phone support
- Prenatal visits monthly until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, home visit at 36 weeks, weekly until birth
- Prenatal visits consist of holistic support including nutrition counseling, herb/ homeopathy recommendations, body mechanics education, and education on childbirth/ postpartum.
- Prenatal visits consist of clinical support including laboratory testing, documenting your course of care, monitoring vitals of mother and baby, and providing referrals as needed
- Team of 2 at your birth- Two Licensed Midwives monitoring the safety of both you and your baby
- On call from 37 weeks- 42 weeks for your birth
- Clinical support to include documenting course of care, monitoring vitals of mother and baby, administering medications as necessary, and necessary interventions (with informed consent).
- Postpartum visits may include up to: one visit at your home at 1 day, then office visits at 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks and 6 weeks
- Postpartum visits consist of holistic support including nutrition counseling, herb/ homeopathy recommendations, education on breastfeeding and newborn care, and family integration support.
- Postpartum visits consist of clinical support including laboratory testing, documenting your course of care, monitoring vitals of mother and baby, and providing referrals as needed.
In addition, your midwife can complete all labs necessary. (There may be an additional fee depending on your insurance coverage, which can be used for some labs.)

What is it?

Insurance
Tranquil Healing Center does not accept any insurance for midwifery care. If you wish to submit a claim directly to your insurance company following completion of midwifery care, we can provide a detailed receipt with codes.
